Pattern editor · MCP server · for AI agents

A pattern design tool for the LLM era.

Your AI agent drafts the pattern pieces. Seamcult gives the agent a mannequin to draft against and checks the geometry. You review the pieces on the canvas. Export the pattern as PDF, PLT or DXF at any point.

Your agent · our harness

Seamcult is an MCP server. Bring Claude Code, Cursor, ChatGPT or any agent that speaks the protocol — we hand it the canvas, a mannequin built from body measurements, the drafting rules and the auditors.

Use cases

Start from whatever you have.

The jobs we see most often: a photo, a new body, a one-line brief, a pattern that needs changes. If your agent can read it, it can draft from it.

Why Seamcult

We put a decade of CAD and garment-industry know-how into this one tool.

We have spent a decade building CAD for the sewing industry: pattern engines, body models, lay planning, pattern documents. Seamcult is the sharp end of that engineering — the geometry core, the mannequin, seams and lay plans, built to work as one and driven by the agent you already use.

Roadmap

What works today, and what's next.

Early access means the core is solid and the edges are still rough. Here's what you can use right now, and what we're building next.

Shipped · in early access today

  • Agent drafts on the canvas Connect your agent over MCP: it draws the pieces and reworks them while you watch the pattern take shape.
  • Review on the canvas Circle a spot and tell the agent what to change — in words, or by drawing right over the pieces. The agent replies and reworks the pattern.
  • Mannequin from measurements A body built from measurements, there for both of you: you see it on the canvas, the agent drafts to it and checks the fit.
  • Pattern audits Checks the agent runs to find mistakes in the pattern and fix them. Not exhaustive yet — we keep adding more — but they already make patterns better.
  • PDF, PLT and DXF export Export the pattern at any stage, on a roll or on standard paper sizes.

Next · what we're building

  • Collaborative editing Edit pieces yourself and with colleagues, side by side with the agent.
  • DXF import onto the canvas Bring existing patterns straight in and keep working on them.
  • More audits We keep adding checks, so the agent catches more mistakes on its own.
  • Automatic notches Placed along the seams and carried over to the matching side.
  • Fixes from early adopters What you report and ask for in Discord shapes what comes next.

Pricing

Free while we're in early access.

Seamcult is still taking shape: things will change, some will break, and we'd rather you told us than paid us. Everything is free until we leave early access. When pricing arrives, you'll hear about it here and in Discord first.
