Pattern editor · MCP server · for AI agents

A pattern design tool for the LLM era.

Your AI agent drafts the pattern pieces. You watch them appear on the canvas, mark what's off, and send a production-ready lay plan to the plotter.

Your agent · our harness

Seamcult is an MCP server. Bring Claude Code, Cursor, ChatGPT or any agent that speaks the protocol — we hand it the canvas, the drafting rules and the auditors.

Use cases

Start from whatever you have.

The jobs we see most often: a photo, an old paper pattern, a new body, a one-line brief. If your agent can read it, it can draft from it.

Why Seamcult

Ten years of garment CAD, sharpened into one tool.

We have spent a decade building CAD for the sewing industry — pattern engines, fit auditors, lay planning, plotter output. Seamcult is the sharp end of that engineering: the same geometry core, now driven by the agent you already use and checked by the auditors factories rely on.

A real body

Plotter-ready
lay plans as PDF, PLT and DXF — straight to the plotter or the cutter, with allowances and seam marks

Roadmap

Where we are, and where this goes.

Early access means the core is in and the edges are still moving. Here is what's already in your hands, and what we're building next.

Shipped · in early access today

  • Agent drafts on the canvas Over MCP: atomic edits, undo and redo, snapshots the agent reads back.
  • Mannequin from measurements A body built from your measurements, silhouettes front, side and back.
  • Audits after every change Contours, seam lengths, symmetry and internal lines.
  • Seams and allowances Seams marked across pieces and copies, allowance groups for the cutter.
  • Lay plans for the plotter PDF, PLT and DXF on the roll, with marking and a paper-saving mode.
  • Review on the canvas Circle what's off and send it to the agent as a note.

Next · what we're building

  • Collaborative editing Edit pieces yourself and with colleagues, side by side with the agent.
  • DXF import onto the canvas Bring existing patterns straight in and keep working on them.
  • Deeper audits Pattern checked against the body, findings shown right on the canvas.
  • Automatic notches Placed along the seams and carried over to the matching side.
  • Fixes from early adopters What you report and ask for in Discord shapes what comes next.

Pricing

Free while we're in early access.

Seamcult is an experimental build: things will change, some will break, and we'd rather you told us than paid us. Everything is free until we leave early access. When pricing comes, you'll hear it here and in Discord first.
