🤖 Your agent drafts on the canvas

Seamcult is an MCP server. Connect Claude Code, Cursor, ChatGPT or any other agent that speaks the protocol — the editor comes with connection instructions for seventeen of them — and ask it for a garment. The agent gets the canvas, the drafting rules and the auditors; you get the pattern pieces appearing in your browser as they are drawn. Every edit is atomic and undoable, and the agent reads its own work back as a snapshot, so it sees what you see. 👀

🧍 A mannequin built from measurements

Give the agent four measurements — height, chest, waist and hips — and it builds a parametric body to draft on. Any other measurement you know makes the body closer to yours; the ones you don't, the model computes. The mannequin stands on the canvas in four views (front, side, side from the other side, back), and the agent measures the pieces against it instead of guessing. 📏

🔍 Audits after every change

The same geometry core we have been building for the sewing industry for a decade checks the work: self-intersecting outlines, seams whose two sides differ in length, patterns that are not symmetric about their declared axis, internal lines that stop short of the outline. The agent is told to run the audit after every group of edits and fix what it finds before moving on.

🪡 Seams and allowances

The agent marks which edges are sewn together and which ends meet — across pieces, copies and mirrored copies — and where an edge needs a seam allowance other than the default. The production documents carry the seam numbers on both sides and the allowances around every piece.

🖨️ Lay plans for the plotter

Export the lay plan on a roll as PDF, PLT or DXF (AAMA, ASTM and modern dialects), with internal lines, seam marks and allowances, in a paper-saving mode if you like, or as page tiles from A4 to A0 for a home printer.

✏️ Review on the canvas

Hold Shift and circle what's off. Write a note, or draw over the area — arrows, curves, an outline — and the agent receives it addressed to the exact pieces and nodes, with a picture of what you drew. It keeps waiting for your comments after the task is done, so the review is a conversation, not a hand-off. 💬
