There is no magic: the model does the drafting
A small note from watching agents work in Seamcult. There is no magic in it: Seamcult gives the agent a canvas, a mannequin and the audits, and the drafting itself is done by the model you connected. So your experience depends on that model. Sol, Opus, Fable and Argon draft garments noticeably better than their smaller siblings — not because of anything we do differently for them, but because a stronger model does the same job with more care. 🧵
If a free or cheap model did not get your pattern right on the first try, that is not a verdict on AI drafting. Try the same request with the strongest model your agent offers before you decide. 💡
The smaller models still have their place: moving pieces around, renaming, exporting, small fixes to a pattern that is already there. Give them the chores and leave the drafting to the big ones. 🪡
